My phone(s) are not working properly; my nokia n73's speaker is not functioning at all while the bottom keypads on my 7611 requires extra small fingers to function. And yet, I'm still considering to get these:
instead of this.


I've been eye-ing that jacket ever since I saw it in a boutique in Boulder, then last wednesday I saw my always-stylish friend miss L wore it! I can live without the buttery-soft purse, but the jacket..... oh dear. I know my judgment is way off and my priority is definitely messed up... :p Would love to see Marc Jacobs arm-wrestled the Apple dudes to settle this confusion. I'll buy the winner's product!

.: living the last of my private bathroom days... :.

While others welcome changes with open hands, I see them as overwhelming, especially when the change is not for the better. I especially got easily overwhelmed with new living situation. Having to move away from a place that I like a lot has really gotten into me. I've been spoiled by having such a warm, comfy room, a pretty private bathroom, ample storage spaces, super easy parking situation... Now I have to move somewhere else that is not a very ideal living space for me, but so far it is the only solution I got. I wish people will stop telling me that it's going to be so much better while in reality it is not. One thing that I'm so unwilling to let go is my shiny, pretty private bathroom that I so lovingly decorated... *sniff* So bye bye warm, cozy room ... I'm going to miss you very much.

There are three kinds of fried rice that I like: my grandma's orange-based fried rice which is very complicated, kencur (lesser galangal) fried rice which smells yummy and super simple, and the Hong Kong-style fried rice. I don't know where the name came from but my mom called the white, no-soy-sauce fried rice as the Hong Kong style and it sticks with me. So this is for dinner, hopefully someone will like it! :D

Along with fries and calamari, crab cakes are my favorite appetizer-thingy that sometimes cost as much as the main dishes. Since crab is expensive here I use the crab in pouches available in the supermarket's frozen section. I'm actually doing some major damages on my checking account although I rarely go out this break (too cold, too lazy... and despite the weather is warmer now I'm still attached to the pillows) Shop online, browsing aimlessly... and ended up at Anthropologie's website. I'm always high whenever I set my foot in Anthropologie (the decor, the smell, the clothes!!). I know their clothes are overpriced but no other stores in the US sell my kind of goods (unless I go to boutiques...aargh!) Been dying to have this cute jacket for a long time and saw it on sale yesterday. What can I do? *swipe...*

I spotted this store while we're walking around Belmar last summer. It was closed but I peeked in and was charmed by the goods they sold. Look what they got now! *new Orla! And it's cuter than ever!* Isn't the bangle and wood pendant gorgeous? The soft-leather handmade wallet is soooo cute! I'm not a big fan of square-shaped rings but it'll be cuter if it is a pendant. And Orla stem tote...

I found this gem of a website and got this recipe from it. Tried it, and it was quite successful *at least I think so*! I adjusted the recipe tho... I only used 1 regular banana, eliminate the condensed milk, and just use 1 egg yolk.
