.: hungry, no time to cook and broke? :.
Ah, what a situation... It's 9PM, you just got home, tired, want to just jump off to bed but you're STARVING! Frozen food is no good but you're too lazy to cook gourmet... What to do? Chop everything you have in the fridge, and stir fry 'em with a pinch of salt and *gulp* sambal oelek if you're up to something spicy. And voilĂ , your dinner is ready. (my former roomie will be so proud of me... you inspired me!! :p)

.: freebies! :.
I think I have paper fetish, my heart leaps whenever I saw beautiful papers. Seriously. I'm not being overdramatic here. I've been collecting pretty paper since I was still in high school and now I have several drawers full of papers. I especially love to have paper samples from paper mills because usually they are well designed. Some aren't free, but we can get some when we go to design shows. I went to an event where Michael Vanderbyl was the speaker *He is amazing! such a good designer and speaker* I learned a lot, had fun (beer & wine to your heart content!) and got loads of paper samples. And today I went to Flax to pick up some paper for my project. My jaw dropped just the minute I walked in. Almost three rooms filled with paper! Handmade, recycled, Italian, Japanese, Chinese silk brocade paper... I know they're not a scrapbook store so they don't have that much scrapbook papers, but so much fun!

2. You have at least 6 projects due on the same day
3. You have to go to the library on Sunday afternoons
4. You go to the library in between classes to SLEEP
5. You have to refer to your syllabus before planning your vacations
6. Weekends don't exist
7. Your can pull off layered clothes and mismatched socks, coz after all, you're an art student.

.: neapolitan madness :.
Whoever created neapolitan ice cream was a genius. Strawberry: good. Vanilla: Good. Chocolate: GOoooOd! Why do we have to choose when we can have all three? Which one do you eat first? I usually finished my vanilla first and save the strawberry for last. I think the color combination is so pretty too... they work together so nicely!

.: ferry building & marketplace :.
It was raining hard on Friday since early morning, but it didn't stop me from going to the Ferry Building near Pier 1 (real one, not the store). The building itself is very nice, the stores are a bit too fancy for me. Most of the products in the market were nicely packaged, so I'm inspired. I love the small bookstore tuck on the corner of the building. Got myself some books there, and today I realized that SF Public Library near my house have extensive collections of books that I want to read, so I'll borrow next time. And save my money for thanksgiving vacay... hmmm...

.: Sad-tur-day :.
Actually it's not a sad saturday :p . I just choose to stay at home and rest since last week was extremely hectic. I decided to do more researches before I do my projects. And to stay away from the call of the mall, considering it's Columbus Day weekend.
I went to Japantown yesterday and found a small store - Daiso style and got several cute stuff for about $1 each! I will upload the pictures later on! *Daiso is the 100yen store from Japan* I think it's interesting how they call the area Japantown but there are so many Korean restaurants and chinese restaurant in there, and the Japanese food is not as good as what they have in LA's Little Tokyo; or maybe I went to a wrong place. I guess next time I yelped ahead before I went there. :p
