Hurrah! I'm finally settling down! I've moved to a new house, so happy! It's a bit far from my school, but it's closer to the beach and Lake Merced. My room feels so cozy already, and I've started some small decorations... :) So I'll be waiting for you guys to visit me soon, mkay?!
I'm trying to make my temporary-room tolerable, so I put on my new quiltcover and pillowcases, tidy up a bit... and open my new nigh-light! I think I will decorate my room in blue! So calming and pretty... despite with all the chaotic mess around it... I can pretend it's an Oasis, the place I ran to whenever I'm exhausted with my projects... :)
Due to an unforeseen circumstances my landlord asked me to relocate temporarily to another room in the house ( a bigger one with bathroom inside, so no complains...) However despite I'm going to move into a new house this weekend, I haven't really packed, so here's what my temporary room looks like... (an organized chaos poy, really!) I got my warm comforter and bolster now, and my bed is so much more comfy than the old one, which means: more problems trying to wake up in the morning!!!
And look what I found at my local small grocery store: This carton-packaged Merlot! It actually taste good! The wine was on sale for 9.99, warms me up on cold night, and I used it for my school project. What a good deal!
My daily meal consists of these two: Spicy Salt Squid (sometimes I substitute with pork) and Honey Walnut Shrimp the reason why IKEA is one of my fave store:
I heart my new hometown! So pretty! So much things going on! I love the Hearts installment around Union Square... and I love hanging out around Union Square despite people said it's a tourist trap... I know I've been complaining about the school and the walk and the weather and blah blah blah... however I'm beginning to love the city :)

Oh dear, I know everyone said grad school is hard but I thought they're just trying to scare me. Unfortunately they are telling the truth... :p I cannot believe I'm spending my holidays at the library and actually feel great about it *LOL* . Me, the nerd! Can anyone imagine that?? However I found the perfect consolation for my school blues : Cute cuppycake shop at Bay St Mall in Emeryville! I know the pics are a bit out of focus, I guess I was already on sugar-high after eating these cuppycakes... *the raspberry one is YUM*
I know I said no more shopping, but don't trust me on that. You know when I said those words I'm about to buy a lot of things ... and trying to forgive myself. But oh how cute are these!! Can't help it! Why zara have so many cute t-shirts lately ? :(
What comprise of your 'good day'? Good weather? Made a sale? A warm hug from someone? These are what makes my 'good day' : 1. Starts with a good, strong cup of coffee 2. Good brunch at Mama's 3. Still fit in my jeans after brunch 4. Still can walk despite of my fat ankle and full stomach 5. Go to pretty places and museum with impressive exhibition 6. Remember to bring my cammie to take pic of pretty places 7. Good, fulfilling dinner and desserts 8. Good conversations with friends about almost everything Aah... I hope this is a start for an interesting life ... :) So far, I love this city!
