There are times I forgot how easy my life is. Kept on complaining day after day when things went wrong. I forgot to appreciate the little, simple things in life. I'm blessed to never live a day without shelter or food. Water is abundant, I got lights when it's dark, and no one forbid me to read Lolita (I just chose NOT to). My friends are just a phone call away, and they always listen patiently to my non-sensical whinings. Why so mellow, you asked? Because there are times people took me for granted too, and obviously it hurts me. So please, appreciate what you got now, don't weep for things you already lost, and never stop trying to live life to the fullest (oh how naive it sounds, but SERIOUSLY!!)

Definitely not the kind of weather that makes me in the mood to go outside and play today (oh well it is Fall, and it is SF ... but still!) I saw this tutorial from my fave blog and decided to get myself the Shrinky Dinks kit but I haven't got the chance to try it until today. I always lost my keys since I have no keychain (I got plenty back home but forgot to bring them with me last aug and haven't found one that I really like just yet) and decided to MAKE some for me and my friends. I set my oven on 300º, heat the shrinkies for 2 minutes. I failed miserably on my first attempt (I tried to flattened it when it's almost cold and they cracked- d'uh..) Learned from my mistake, I flip them when they curled up (after about 2 min) and put them back inside the oven asap (another 2 min). They're still a bit lopsided, but at least they're flat!!!

Ever since I joined AIGA I just decided to take advantage of my memberships by going to their events. They held fun events, serve good finger foods and sometimes bottomless beer, and of course, I scored many paper-freebies. (altho he seemed non-chalant about this, but I think my friend was reaaallly ashamed of my behavior towards freebies.... oh well.) Last night was their Fall Gala, and the fashion design department of my school took part in it by having a fashion show, creating dresses out of recycled materials. It was actually pretty neat and we had tons of fun. You can see more picture here, here, here and here.

Just like what I posted last week, I love Max my MacBookPro with all my heart. It's on the top of my list of what items I will save in case of fire. Max accompanied me almost wherever I went, so it got some scratches on the surface :( How nice it'll be if I can cover it with this:
