I found this idea from Creature Comforts and inspired to do a modern day Alice-style. I like Alice in Wonderland because of the full fantasy story, beautifully drawn, and the lush colors they used in the animation.

My roomie said that I have a 'granny style'. Not sure if that meant something good but I think with me crocheting, collecting laces & browsing for vintage necklace, she was absolutely correct. Dunno why I'm so attracted to 'granny' stuff, I just thought they're lovely. Now how about some Cameos showcase? I want something that can be a good family heirloom, not cheap plastics. But after browsing for two days I found out that there are too many of these and it's hard to pick one that's worth buying. These are some pretty ones :

Lookit! I moved to a new project. I found this booklet while browsing for yarn at Michael's, and feel that I can probably make the small tote bag with extra effort. :p And I looove the neapolitan combination. The yarns called Softee Chunky Twist also available in periwinkle-mocha-vanilla combination! YUM!!!!
I'm also thinking of getting a nice brooch but I cannot made up my mind!! Cameo or felt pins? I've been browsing for felt pins and found these pretty ones :

One more month from now I'll be back in the graphic design torture chamber and I think I need to get ready considering my capabilities and also the skills of my fellow classmates. I heard we will be required to make at least 11 books (some handmade, others will be professionally printed & bound), so I want to learn how to make books! (Book on how to make books courtesy of Mr E, thanks!!:D) So far aside from doing random digital scrapbook, I catch up with my sleep... (hey, I won't sleep next semester, might as well gather some zzz now..) And I've been procrastinating for years, stating that I want to learn how to knit or crochet (I can see miss T laughing her a** off if she read this) But no more procrastinating! I will start to learn and won't quit!! (although my friend already started a bet that I will quit in a week) I love Lily Sugar n Cream yarns, the colors are yummy! So far.... I failed to even make a decent slipknot...

I cannot believe it's already August! It's almost been a year since I move back here! I don't feel I've progressed as much as I wanted to but I've been buying better stuff! (and that IS progress). Now I spend more money on artworks as well as the other stuff (... f21 ...) Although I have no idea on how to display my purchases, I still browse for beautiful, affordable prints everyday. With a gazillion of talented artists out there it's not easy to decide, really. I found these works by Leanne and still debating whether I should get them or no ... any opinions? Don't you think they're very lovely?
